The cellist Yoosin Park is a next-generation artist who has been criticized by the cellist Young Song, a representative cellist of Korea, as an “artist who moves the audience’s mind with the sound”.

In September of 2018, she was awarded the 2nd prize at the 24th Leoš Janáček International Competition and the 2nd prize at the International Anton Rubinstein Competition in April. She also won the 1st prize at the Dresden National Music University Chamber Music Competition and the 2nd prize with the Special Prize at the International Johannes Brahms Competition in 2015.

In Korea, she increased her presence in many competitions. She was awarded the 1st prize at Pohang Music Association Competition, the 1st prize at Daegu Music Association Competition, the 1st prize at Busan Music Education Newspaper Competition, the 2nd prize at Music Education Newspaper Competition, the 2nd prize at Youngsan Music Competition, the 2nd prize at Korea Brahms Association Competition, the 2nd prize at Seoul Baroque Ensemble Competition and the 3rd prize at Busan MBC Music Competition.

Until 2018, Yoosin Park was a member of the Dresden Staatskapelle Academy and proved her real worth in the international stages. She performed with the renowned orchestras such as the South West German Philharmonic, Erzgebirgische Philharmonie Aue, Russian National Ballet Orchestra and the Dresden National Music Orchestra conducted by the well-known conductor, Kurt Sanderling. In addition, she performed Vivaldi Double Concerto with her master Emil Rovner and she was invited to Utsunomiya, Japan and had an invitational recital. She played at several festivals, for instance, Uttwil masterclass, Casalmaggiore festival and Buchenau festival et al. Moreover, she performed at various prestigious venues in Europe including the Berlin Philharmonic Chamber Hall and Ramenau Baroque Hall.

She was invited to perform at Kumho Art Hall as a Kumho Young Chamber Artist. As a soloist, she has been playing famous orchestras in Korea including KBS symphony orchestra, Jeonju Symphony orchestra, Pohang Philharmonic Orchestra and Kyunghee University Orchestra at the regular concert. In December 2018, she performed Beethoven Triple Concerto with violinist Young-Uk Kim, pianist Dong-hyuk Lim and KBS Symphony Orchestra conducted under Yoel Levi and also performed with cellist Emil Rovner and Korean Chamber Orchestra at Gyeongju Arts Center. In January 2019, she was nominated as a Rising Star Top 7 by Nobless magazine and had duo recital <Russian Cello> with pianist Hanna Hyunjung Kim in February. She continuously keeps playing actively in Korea.

She graduated from Kyunghee University as a scholarship student for all grades and she received her master’s degree from Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden with full marks since 2015 and graduated the artist diploma course at the same university. With the endless passion for learning, she participated in the masterclasses of Arto Noras, David Geringas, Danjulo Ishizaka and Christoph Richter et al., and studied under Kyung-Ok Park, Young-hoon Song, Emil Rovner. Currently, she is teaching at Kyunghee University As an artistic director, she founded Autumn Chamber Music Festival in Korea that held in 2019-2022. Also, she has been the artistic director of the Music Festival Pohang since 2021.
